Writing is not just writing...
Most women get stuck because all the focus is on writing & all the blocks are triggered. Then you start but don't finish... or never start... and then the burden of carrying around a story that can't get out is so heavy.
Each time we do this and get stuck, we blame ourselves or think, "What is wrong with me?" "I must not be good at this." These are bullshit stories. But we have been taught a linear, masculine way to get shit done... and if it hasn't worked for you in the past, it's likely not gonna work for you next time either.
This cyclical, fluid approach works well with women, especially.
