We talked about why writing is such a powerful healing process & how to get started if you are struggling. Questions especially, "Who am I to write & share?" & "My story is too vulnerable/ I haven't finished healing from my experience... When will I be ready to share."
Sandra: "Giving herself a voice it’s really something a woman struggles with, we’re trying somehow to be perfect; We’re trying so hard to keep everything bottled up because we’re taught to do so."
"Through writing my story I empowered myself; I can talk about my story and it doesn’t faze me."
Sierra: "In the process of writing a book we heal things we didn't expect to heal about ourselves."
You will heal through writing your story because you're sharing for the first time. Sandra
"This is the universal struggle, it’s not your job to figure out who better benefits from your story & your book. No one can benefit from it if you can’t share it." Sierra
"Those of us who feel drawn to sharing our stories, we are the teachers." Sandra
"We all have this question 'Who am I to tell this story?!'
Not everybody wants to write their story & not everybody has a book in them, but the people that do have something that everybody else is looking for." Sierra
"When we share even little bits of our truth people resonate and they are like 'I needed that'." -Sierra
