Charting Your Cycle

cycle identity practice selflove video Dec 07, 2020

Women come to me often with a similar story. They say, “I don't understand what's going on. I thought I had everything figured out. A couple of weeks ago everything was exactly the way it was supposed to be and now I just feel like a mess and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.”

Does this sound familiar?

My automatic response is to ask what day of your cycle are you on?

More often than not she'll say, “actually I don't really know. I'm not really paying attention to that.”

How about you? Do you know what day of your cycle you're on?

This blog and the (18min) video training above are an introduction to charting your cycle:

  • the benefits of trading your cycle
  • an introduction to the tool I’ve created to help you discover your own rhythms and patterns
  • So never again will you just think:
    •  you're crazy,
    • wonder why you're such a mess,
    • wonder what's wrong with you
    • get to beat yourself up into a little shame spiral

When it comes to tracking your cycle there are often a lot of questions. The first question women ask me is, “why bother.” This is because we have been taught to disconnect from our bodies and ignore our natural rhythms years and years and centuries of ignoring our natural cycles have disconnected us from this intelligence and the wisdom it brings.

Would you like to have a key to unlock how you work in the world? To understand why and how and when in the future you are going to be moody, when you're going to be really jazzed and wish you were connecting? How great it's going to feel to schedule out sometime months in advance to know when you're going to be moody and want to be alone.

That is what charting can offer you!

In my life, I use this to help me know when to book podcast interviews, summit's and public speaking events, things that require a lot of my attention and energy.  I don't want to be on stage on day one of my period; tired and crampy just wanting to lie down.  I want to be on the stage when I'm lit up like a superstar, where the energy just comes naturally to me and I shine without even trying.  Guess what? There's a way to know into the future.  Yep. You guessed it, by tracking.

It is not a perfect science but it is a million times better and not paying attention at all.
